Is there a thing called 'Goal'? Will it come to us or we need to go it? What if the surroundings do not support while going to it??
Oh..great people don't bother about surrounding? hmm. then is it possible for a common man to achieve his goals?can a common man have goals?
Who's common man and who's great man..!!
a man who's alrdy done somthng is GrtMan. a man who wnats to do something grt is a common man?????

Grt man can't become a common man while common man always wants to become a grt man. So everybody is trying to become great...!! Great.
What exactly he's planning to do after becoming grt? He want to tell everybody that he's grt. Then common ppl will start follwing him.
One becomes grt to show his Grtness. If u ask him why one need to be grt.????
He uses most difficult but feelgood words of his vocabulary like Satisfaction,Interest,Talent,Fame, Fate etc. Common man starts feeling....

Not knowing the depth of the words, starts making his common life struggle, starts disturbing his surroundings, Starts his journey...

My doubt is.... can a common man really achieve his goal??
I think, anyone can struggle to be Grt. But he'll be left in between. his successors can only continue and become Great.

Strange but a derived lesson from the history....!!

  1. That was a great presentation ,more or less depicting the human mind in the most precise manner. I am afraid ,the main theme of the passage is misunderstood or misdirected . Mere achieving of a goal doesn't make some one great and the persons who don't achieve something might not be necessarily remain common for the rest of his life.
In any society in the world , the accolades won or degrees attained are not requisite for the term 'GREAT MEN'.There are various means . . .According to u . . I see that GOAL is a destination and universally it is a known fact that GREAT MEN are not born and made and their deeds are what make them ,what they are !
And finally , to answer your question "can a common man achieve his goal ?" I personally feel that Optimism makes a man and will power is what fuels it and our great Mahatma is one such instance .

    1. Gud one...!! I agree ur points like achieving goals don't make someone great and degrees attained aren't prerequisite for them to be Grt man. But my intention was to tell that, to whom achieving their goals is easier and to whom its not. Of course i ain't saying that my words aren't 100% correct but let me tell that they are 85% correct. i'm telling Its easy for you to become an IAS officer (if ur interested ofcourse),if any of ur ancestors had struggled and achieved something very near to IAS than someone else who's starting for the first time in his own history. Like Farhan akthar bcoz of Javed, Rahet ali khan bcoz of Nusrat fateh ali khan, Nehru coz of Motilal..etc. But i ain't denying that someone starting their journey towards their goal will not achieve and will be left as common man. they may, may not. PPl like Dhirubhai ambani,Sachin, Ilayaraja, Ramanujan, Raman have already proved that. And lastly, Gandhiji wasn't a common man at all.He pretended to be common man. His father was Karamchand ghandi(1822-1885), was Diwan(Chief minister)of Porubandar and was a great human being. he started his journey for achieving non violence and peace in porubandar and succeeded to some extent, what exactly gandhi did in India. it became easy for him coz of Karamchand gandhi...!!
Hope my reply makes sense if ur comment does. :P
