Is there really a thing called goal?
Does it come to us, or do we go to it?
And what if the surroundings never support our journey toward it?
They say great people never bother about surroundings.
Maybe that’s true — or maybe they just learn how to move through the storm without expecting calm.
But then, can an ordinary person do the same?
Can a common man have goals — and truly reach them?
We often think a great man is someone who has already done something.
And a common man is someone who wants to do something great.
Strange, isn’t it?
A great man cannot go back to being common,
and a common man never stops trying to be great.
So in a way, everyone is busy chasing greatness.
But what happens after one becomes great?
He wants the world to know it.
He wants others to follow him.
One becomes great — to prove his greatness.
And when you ask him why he needed to be great,
he replies with words that sound profound — Satisfaction. Interest. Talent. Fame. Fate.
Words that feel good, but are rarely understood.
The common man hears them, feels inspired, and sets out on his own path.
Without knowing the depth of those words, he begins his struggle,
disturbs his surroundings,
and starts his journey — not always knowing where it leads.
Can he truly achieve his goal?
Maybe yes. Maybe not.
Anyone can struggle to be great,
but most are left somewhere in between —
halfway between the dream and the destination.
And perhaps that’s not failure at all.
Because from that point, someone else continues the journey.
History shows us this pattern —
no great work was ever completed by one man alone.
Every discovery, every change, every act of courage
was a chapter, not a full story.
Each common man who dared to begin
paved the way for someone else to become great.
Maybe that’s the secret —
Greatness is not a title one earns,
but a relay of courage passed across time.
And the man who understands this
ceases to chase greatness —
he simply becomes true.
